Testimony regarding Emma Smith Bidamon : Nauvoo, Illinois, 1912 July 29.

Includes author's four-page account of his interview with Mrs. Elizabeth Jemison, quoting her comments relating to Emma Smith, widow of Joseph Smith Jr. Author suggests that he wrote the account the same evening that he met with Elizabeth Jemison. The title of the account is written on an envelope containing pictures of Nauvoo. Jemison was born in Nauvoo in 1854 and lived there all her life. She and her sister had worked for Emma Smith in the Mansion House in Nauvoo. At the time of the interview Jemison and her husband lived in a house formerly owned by Lorenzo Snow, a leader in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon). Also included is a two-page handwritten quote from "The Book of the Law" by James J. Strang.

Lorenzo Snow was born 3 April 1814 in Mantua, Ohio. After being baptized a member of the Church, he served a mission in Ohio and the Eastern States. He was ordained to the office of Seventy in 1840. He served as President of the United Order in Brigham City from 1874-1886. He was ordained an apostle in 1849, after which he served missions to England and Europe.
